the oregon coast is truly beautiful. It helps that almost none of it is privately owned. I love living here and yeah, even when the valley is sunny, the coast is almost always clooudy. Probably 350 out of 365 days in a year

swimming in the willamette river is crazy 💀(might not be as dirty in eugene because its sourced pretty close to there but where i live, salem, its pretty dirty and i would never swim in it

Crater Lake is definitely worth visiting when I was visiting Eugene. It was absolutely picturesque, and I hiked to the bottom and did some cliff diving there.

Are you guys coming to New Hampshire this summer? If you do , you should hike the Mahoosuc Notch trail. It’s the hardest 1mile section of the Appalachian Trail. Lots of caves and boulders. You’d remember it for the rest of your lives.

Hey Lex and Leo, I'm a pretty good upcoming Junior in high school and I was wondering if you guys had any insights on Doug Soles from great oak's training compared with what you guys did with NP. You see, I'm transferring to the new school Doug Soles is coaching and I heard that he has a reputation for burning out athletes which compared with you guys, (Nico, Leo, Lex, And Colin) have all done already crazy stuff at the college level and I hope to be able to do that too. That's why I was wondering how the two training plans of both coaches and high schools compared because I of course don't want to burn out. Soles philosophy is that most of the runners he coaches didn't have talent to begin with so they peaked under his training and only the ones who have natural talent keep moving on through college. I believe I have a sizeable amount of talent, I can run relatively fast off of no training compared to my other teammates at herriman (the school that soles moved to) I was wondering if this is truly the right decision with my career. If you're able to answer the question then no worries cuz I wouldn't expect you guys to really know what the great oak coach was doing while you guys were in high school but I'd really appreciate it if you could give me some insight on if and how Soles training is too harsh and burning out his athletes an why Sean Brosnan's training is comparatively better with not burning out his athletes. I'm asking cuz I want to have a deeper knowledge on how I can keep myself from burning out even while attending Soles program. Thanks for the consideration lol if you actually read this. And congrats to your brother Nico for making it to the freaking Olympics 🎉🎉🎉
